Doctor Who: The Wreck of the Titan
by Barnaby Edwards
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Doctor plans to take Jamie for a trip on the Queen Mary. But when they arrive, they seem to have landed on the Titanic, mere hours before it is due to crash into an iceberg. Except that several small details seem to be wrong: there are doors that lead nowhere; the first officer's name seems to be wrong; and the band keeps playing the same tune over and over...And then events make it clear that they aren't on the real Titanic at all.
The Doctor works through a number of theories about what is going on. I was quite taken with the "we're trapped in a computer game" theory. I don't want to spoil the final revelation, but it certainly made me eager to hear the next play. View all my reviews >>
