Don't mind me, I'm hibernating

At least since I've been in college, every autumn around late September/October I go through a week or two where I'm really tired. I'm in that period right now.

I suspect it has something to do with the days getting shorter - I'm trying to take my lunch and other breaks outside when I can, to see if that helps. I suppose it might be a mild form of Seasonal Affective Disorder, although I don't feel depressed, just like I've suddenly gone from needing 7-8 hours of sleep a night to something more like 10 hours of sleep. (Actually, it would be kind of interesting to see if I could consistently manage to get 10 hours of sleep for a few days - would that fix the problem?) I suppose I could try a light box, although generally I snap out of this period of blahs at just about the point where it gets annoying enough that I start to contemplate doing something about it.

Exercise helps too. I'm going to hop on the elliptical machine just as soon as I finish this cup of tea...
